Newton Day

Me and Nick flew to Utah on Friday the 22nd. We were picked up at the airport by my brother Garrett and his wife Courtney then we all drove to Newton to spend time down there with our cousins. We we got there and ate some dinner, jumped on the tramp (When I realized that I am starting to become a chicken because I didn't dare to do a back flip or backhand spring for about 30 minutes, but don't worry I pumped my self up and finally did it!) Then we roasted some biscuits then put yummy pudding in the middle of them. Nick ate like a million of them. We were all done and in the house chit chatting and Nick is outside eating all of them up. Oh how I love that crazy man!
Then my cousin BreAnne at 12 AM was like we should do this fun dance game on the Wei. Of course everyone else was haggard so we were the only ones dancing and getting all into it. It was so much fun! I was like Bree you keep cheating you always know whats coming up before it even happens you've played this before....! Then finally I realized that there are little characters on the bottom showing what move is coming up next! Wow I am slow sometimes! Then to make things even better my Aunt Teresa and mom were sitting behind us on the couch and they beat me! Can I just say I am a really good dancer and I've got the rhythm in me! Talk about embarrassing!
Then the next morning We woke up at 640, my Uncle Kenny drove us to the dam and dropped me, Nick, and Bree off for us to run in the Newton 5K at 7. It was so much fun! Nick left us in the dust and took 17th and me and Bree ran with one another and talked. She probably could have left me in the dust too but she stayed with me, thanks Bree!
After the 5K we ate some yummy breakfast then went to the Newton parade. It was so much fun to hang out with family and see the big tractor's, dancers, motorcycles, and getting candy thrown at you. It was just a little parade probably lasted like 30 min or so.
After the Parade the real reason why we were in Newton came up (Besides hanging out with family of course) the big volleyball tournament. My Uncle Kenny has been talking about this volleyball tournament since Christmas and how a team there has won every single year and how we need to change that destiny once and for all... OK maybe he didn't say it exactly like that!
If you know our family we are very tall... Very athletic.... AND VERY COMPETITIVE! We beat everyone!!! Except right before the championship game we lost. All of us were very disgruntled (That's for you dad) We didn't say anything to each other after we just went and sat down. (Oh forgot to say that its double alimintaion, so were not out yet) So we went to go look at the standings and to see what we had to do win this thing! We found out that we had to fight our way back to the winning circle. So the next two teams we stepped on to the sand very serious (Well semi serious.. if you know us we can't be to serious for to long.. anyways) and beat them. Then we were playing the team that we lost... We were all like REVENGE IS MINE!!!! Not really.. But really! So if we beat them we have to play again because were tied with one lose.... WE BEAT THEM! So we played again... and guess what happened next! we lost.. NO JUST KIDDING WE WON! It was so much fun to see my family who's sport isn't really volleyball. Their sports are Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, and Cheerleading. It was so cool to see how athletic our family was and how we pulled together to win as a team/family.
Thanks again Unlce Kenny and Aunt Teresa for inviting us that was so much fun!

Love you all!
