24th of July

On the 24th me and Nick went to Nicole's (Nicks sister) new apartment. It is so cute she lives in a 3 bedroom and I loved having her cute kids show us around the place. Anthony was so excited to show us his new room and his new bed spread and all of his cool pictures that were up and cute little Atalie showed us hers too. After seeing the new place we went to Nicks dads and Debbie's house and hung out and watched the nieces and nephew play in the sprinklers and have a water balloon fight. Man oh man do I miss being a kid and just being care free and having fun all the time.
We had a very yummy BBQ and hung out and spent time together and caught up on everything. So much fun to see them and we miss them all so much.
That night I took Nick to the airport so he could be back at school for Monday! (BOO) I wish he could have stayed longer to see everyone, but I need to keep telling myself just a few more years and will be back.
After I dropped Nick off I went to my parents house and my family was all there had some Dutch oven and was just out back watching the kids play and just talking. Once it got dark my brother in law Brooks set off some fireworks which was so much fun to be able to set off the big sky ones in the backyard and not having to drive to a park with a bunch of people, then getting stuck in traffic.
So story time, Brooks put one of the fireworks on the ground and light it and it kind of tipped over and was just shooting off sparks when all of a sudden a HUGE spark flew right at my dad and it him right in the shoulder! haha it was so funny! I wish a video camera was on at that very moment because he gets hit and all of us were sitting in a line and all our heads turned at the same time and we all just sat there for a sec, then when we saw my dad was OK we were all dying of laughter! Good times!!!
