HAWAII

On Wednesday April 6th my parents and sister drove to Vegas to stay with me and Nick for a night before we flew out to HAWAII!

The next morning Rachelle my amazing visiting teacher in my Ward took us to the Airport since Nick had finals so he had to leave the house at 5:30. We arrived in Hawaii in the middle of the night, I think around 9:30 pm so I think it was 12:30 am in Vegas so I was a little tired and so were my parents and sister because it was 1:10 am their time! While picking up our bags at baggage claim my cute brother and sister in law surprised us with cute Hawaiian lei's! I wish I took a picture of them!

The next morning we went to HukiLau Cafe (The real one.. NOT the one 50 first dates fake one) It was good and of course I got spam and eggs and my family thought I was nasty but you know what I liked it! :)

After breakfast we went hiking at Waimea Falls. It was so pretty! I love the pretty tree's in Hawaii. I know that I am 23 years old, but I'm not going to lie I wanted to climb all of the tree's but I know that I need to act like more of an adult haha and I know my family wouldn't just start climbing tree's with me they would probably be so embarrassed so of course I acted all mature.

Lindsay, Courtney, Garrett, and I went swimming in the water. It wasn't a super hot day so the water was pretty cold and by the water fall it is about 30 feet and of course my family can't swim very well so one of the guys working had to throw us a floating device haha.

I didn't want to put my clothes on with me being wet so I just hiked back in my swimming suit.

After hiking we went and ate some lunch then went to Waimea Beach. It was so much fun! Me and my brother threw the frisbee around, my parents actually got in the water and layed on some body boards which I know if I posted pics of that my mom would freak out! We saw a sea turtle right next to me in this picture!

After the beach we went and got some Matsumoto's shaved ice, which was so YUMMY! Then walked around and shopped a little.

The next day was Garretts graduation!!! The speaker for his graduation was Brother Nelson Quorum of the twelve! He did such a good job, yet again another one spoke about how young people need to stop messing around and get married! I just watched the graduates when he said this and a bunch of them just looked around and started laughing.

YES my big brother only has to take one more class in the summer then he moves back to Utah! I'm so proud of him and his accomplishments he has had at playing ball at Yavapii then going on his mission to Korea for two years, then going to BYU Hawaii and playing basketball for another two years and becoming a graduate! He will be the First guy in our family of grand kids to graduate and that is such a great accomplishment that I don't think that he realizes! And Courtney has been there for him threw think and thin this whole time! They met in college at Yavapii and waited for him to get back from his mission then waited another 6 months while Garrett was in Hawaii before he man up to propose to her after his game in Dixie! While they have lived in Hawaii she did online classed and graduated and also works with special needs at a school in Hawaii. She just recently has been except to the U to start her Masters program! She is one determined and patient women! And I am so proud of them both and can't wait for them to move closer!

Hawaii was so much fun the only way this trip could have been any more fun was if my dady didn't get sick, if Nick was able to go, Mike and his family got to come, and the rest of Lindsays family got to come! It was so good to see Garrett we hadn't seen him since my wedding in August! Thanks so much for puttin up with us and letting us stay at your house love you guys and miss you all!
