Over the weekend me and Nick went to Utah. While we were there they were having the ten year reunion for the Olympics. I can't believe it has been ten years since the Olympic games were in Utah! I remember being in 8th grade and watching the games on TV and going down town and seeing the huge banners up on the buildings.
At the U, the dorms is where all the Olympic athletes stayed and the HC is where they would eat their dinners. It was cool to go to the U and go in the cafeteria and see the signatures on the wall and down by the football field where they did the opening and closing ceremony's with all the banners still up.
We went to the gateway down town
and they had all this little booths set up for people who had passes to take pictures with some Olympic props. We didn't spend money on those passes so we just walked around.
There were a few guys jumping on the huge trampolines and doing tricks, which was pretty awesome.
I loved watching them do this one. This guy would land on his stomach and they would bounce him super high and he would act like he was going to land on his head, or do something silly in the air.
Our nephew Anthony's birthday is today (He is 7), but we celebrated it while we were there.
Nick and I asked Nicole what Anthony really wanted for his birthday and she said white skinny jeans. So that's what we did. He was super excited when he opened them!
Umm can you say skinny jeans as a tube top! I think we got him a size to big!!!
He thought it was the funniest thing! Hopefully Nicole can find a smaller size for him!
For Christmas we bought Anthony a book called a diary of a wimpy kid
(I think that's what it was called)
And he loved it so we got him a shirt to go along with it.
Happy Birthday Anthony!
