On Monday morning we woke up early to go on a hike up Brighton Canyon. It was cold at first then it warmed up so I was happy about that! (I very much dislike the cold) It was fun to go hiking with Nick and to see all the green and the smell of fresh air. Me and Nick decided that people are so much nicer in the mountains. Everyone says hello and everyone says excuse me and uses their manners. Unlike people when you see them on the street, they run into you, no one says excuse me! I figure people are more in a rush and aren't happy in town, but in the mountains no ones in a hurry and they don't have a care in the world! I wish people could be like that all the time!
We went on all the trails below and saw all three lakes.
I had to put this picture up because I set the timer for the camera and tryed hard to get in position for the picture but as you see.. Me and Nick both aren't ready! It was pretty funny!

It was so worth it waking up early to get there before the rush. When we headed back down the mountain their were a lot of people coming up! Oh we also saw a moose! Gotta love the outdoors!

oh how I miss utah mountains so very much! I have hiked up to dog lake before but not thru that canyon the back way. I think its a much shorter hike. :) Looks like a lot of fun!
That's so funny. Eric and I just went mountain biking and we thought the same thing... everyone is SOOO nice in the mountains! I love it...
So pretty! I wish we could have gone hiking with you guys! So fun seeing you. I am glad you made a last minute trip up north!
