Nicks dad Paul and Paul's fiancee Debby came to sure my day.

Two of my best friends at graduations. Hilary and Stephanie.

Me and steph came in as freshmen and were going out together as seniors

Up at the U after my senior banquet.

Well it has been a long time since I have blogged, So here are a couple of new things that have happened. Nick and I have found a cake place, which we heard about from Katie my sister-in-law. (Thank you) We also found a photographer that we are really are excited about. Nick found a tux place as well. We have a reception place in South Jordan. It well be held in a backyard of someone that my mom knows. It is a very pretty backyard and I cant wait to go see it again and take pictures of it and figure out how we want to decorate it. We have our colors purple, orange, and red. The Red is for Utah and UNLV, Purple is for Nicks school Riverton and Westminster, and orange is for Nicks mom Tena. She passed away last year on July 24th from MS. The color orange is the MS color so we decided to have it so we could have her presents with us on our wedding day.

Nick finished his first semester at UNLV a couple of weeks ago and he found out that he is first in his class. He so deserves it too! I have never met someone who studies and wants to learn as much as he does. He really try's so hard in all of his classes. He is at school early everyday to make sure he is prepared for all of his lectures for the day. He will stay late and drill, and after drilling he will go and study a little bit more so what he learned about that day will stay fresh in his mind. He doesn't leave the school till about 11 or so at night. He started summer school on Monday so he is right back at it. hang in there baby it will go by fast and keep up the good work!

On May 7th I had the opportunity to graduate from the University of Utah. I honestly never thought that I would graduate from college, well since I'm being honest... I never thought I would get into college! I am so grateful for my parents for putting me in club volleyball when I was in high school. I know that it took a toll on them with how much club was, but I know that they had faith and hope that maybe if they did that for me at that time I could go somewhere. Which I did. My senior year at qualifiers the coaches at the University of Utah saw me playing in a game. They said during warm ups someone told them about me so they decided to watch me play for a bit. They said when I went and his a 1 during warm ups and pounded the ball on the 10 foot line they knew that they could use me on there team. I am grateful for the opportunity that the coaches gave me, for giving me a scholarship to play volleyball and go to college for free. With out my parents, family, coaches, counselors, tutors, and teachers for helping me through college there would have been NO way I could have survived.

Thanks sista, Brooks, Mom, Dad, and Nick for helping me with my homework threw out the years. haha I really don't think I could have passed my classes with out all of your help!

Wow Chels. Sounds like a lot has been going on. Sorry, I haven't been blogging lately.
Congrats on the graduation. It is such an AMAZING feeling! I love being doing with school.
Congrats to Nick on being such a smarty pants. That is so awesome. First! Wow.
I'm glad the wedding plans are moving along too. It's always nice when you get things going and are making progress. There are so many things that go into a wedding. Ha. Call if you need anything or want to know what stuff we used for our wedding.
