One Year ago today

One year ago on a sunday like today, my roommates and I were at church and heard that there was going to be an athlete fireside at the institute that night. All of us thought that that would be fun to go to because a famous NFL player was going to speak. Little did I know that I would meet my future husband there that night. lets start from when I was at my parents house...

Well just like every sunday I would go to my parents house to eat dinner with all of my family. While I was eating dinner and hanging out with my family I was having fun and lost track of time. it was 6:30 when my freind texted me and said, "Do you want me to save you a spot at the fireside tonight?" I almost said NO because I was having so much fun just hanging out with my family, but I texted back and said YES. I told my family good by and that I will see them next sunday.

When I got to the institute it was 7:15 so I was really debating on just going back to my house and just ask my roommates how it was, but I decided that I should go. I want and listen to the speaker and then after we walked down the stairs and saw a ton of people in the gym. Little did we know that there was another fireside that night by John Bitheway. My friends and I went in there and saw that there were refreshments so we decided to stike around a litte longer and have some cookies.

While we were there a ton of people kept coming up to us and wanted to talk to us. (I think because we stuck out more then everyone else because there was us five girls that are over 6'1) I wasn't really talking all that much to the people that were talking to us, I was to busy texting two guys on my phone. Then Emillie Toone (my roommate) said something to catch my attenchen. She said, "Look at those three boys their tall, and they have looked at us ever since we walked in here. maybae we should go and give them a cookie so we can have a closer lookie." so we walked over there and started to talk to them. They were probably the most interesting and cutiest boys there so we stuck around a little longer and talked.

The three boys names are Jared, Nick, and Nick. Little did I know that one of those Nicks would by my husband soon! Right when we were about to leave one of the boys said we should get one of your numbers so we can hang out sometime. No one said anything, so I said ok who wants to give me there number (since I already had my phone out) and Nick said, "You can have mine..!" and that is were it all started.

The next day he called and asked if we wanted to hang out. I said, "sure that would be fun." that night we talked for 3 hours. The day after that his friends came over to my house and played catch phrase with me and my roommates. It was a fun night and that is when I decided that this kid could be someone that I could like.

If you ask Nick his story would be different then mine. He said that the moment that he saw me walk into the gym that there is something different about this girl and I need to talk to her. He also said the first time I went to his house and we talked all night that he knew that I was the one he wanted to marry.

Im so happy that I went to the Institute that night and that I didn't stay at my parents our go back to my house, because if I did then I wouldn't have met NICK. The man that I love with all my heart. Love you Nick and happy one year annaversary.
