I will start off telling you all a little bit about Nick and I. On March 8, 2009, I had an athlete fireside that I went to at the institute. While I was at the fireside for athletes Nick was down stairs at the fireside with John Bytheway (If I knew that he was speaking I'm sure that I would have been down there instead). After both of the firesides were over I went down with all of the other volleyball girls and we were mingling with all of the people that they knew. Well some of the girls noticed that there were 3 really tall guys that kept looking at us. Then finally Emillie Toone who is 6'7 finally said, "Girls those guys over there seem like there too chicken to come talk to us, so lets go over there." She grabbed a couple of cookies and we followed her. She got to them and said, "Hey guys noticed you guys were looking at us so we decided to come over and have a lookie and give you a cookie."We all laughed and they grabbed and ate the cookies. They said that you guys must play volleyball. (there was a huge poster of us behind us on the institute wall, so it was a pretty good guess). So we stood there for probably about 45 minutes waiting for someone to ask for someone's number. No one did so I finally said, "So who wants to give me their number so we can all hang out sometime." Nick instantly said, "You can have mine." So I got his and he got mine. The next day he called me and we talked on the phone for three hours about pretty much everything, and we hung out two days later with everyone. That leads to now.... On January 29th, my parents and I drove down to Vegas to go to Nick's white coat ceremony (Its where he got his white dentist coat) the next day he said that he won a certificate to eat on top of the stratosphere. So we got all dressed up, ate on top (which was so so beautiful up there we got to see the whole city). After dinner we went on the next level walked around for a bit then he got on one knee and proposed!!! I said Yes of course!! So we have been engaged a week from yesterday and I am seriously the luckiest girl alive. He is everything I have ever wanted! I love you so so so much Nicholas Booth!
